Are you thinking about getting started with blogging? Not sure what to do or how to get started? If you have, then you’ve committed to branding yourself for success in your business. But to produce consistently high content can be difficult, even for the best bloggers. So here are some facts that will help you to always have quality content to give your target audience.

Know your niche, then blog in your niche

Determine what makes you passionate about your business. It may be a product or a business opportunity. Maybe helping people to live healthy or lose weight. Or possibly helping people to have freedom through your business opportunity.

Write about whatever you love. The last thing you want is writer’s block. It’s no fun and you definitely do not want to force things out that are not genuine.

Ask “what does my audience need?”

Whenever I teach a share information, I always write at the top of my notes these 9 words:

“It’s not what you say, it’s what they hear.”

When you commit to deliver content to an audience, you commit to solving their needs. Part of solving their problems is writing in such a way that they can understand. That means writing at their level.

It is always safest to write at a level that a kid can understand. Moreover, be careful that your writing isn’t offering sufficient value. This is the most important thing to know before you blog: –  is what I am writing something my audience needs and would look out for?

You are not writing to impress with words; you are writing to offer solutions.

Generate quality content

The best way to never run out of content for your blog is to have the information readily available. Personal development comes in handy here because you would have already been exposed to high quality material anyway.

There will be times when you will have to do some extra research, but a large part of the information is already programmed in your head. Get content from  sources that include the following sources.

  1. Personal Experience
  2. Newspapers
  3. Success Magazines
  4. Webinars
  5. Podcasts
  6. Company conference calls
  7. Events
  8. Periscopes

These are the 3 things that you will need to get started!
